The Days of Investigative Reporting and Reporting the Truth died recently.Diagnosis...Corporate Ownership of the News and the Almighty Dollar caused the death, and the public, like a herd of Cattle, hasn't realized it yet and are unable to identify the loss let alone grieve the loss.
We are at War and no matter your stand on the War, it is not being reported.The men and women who heroically defend our Politicians Policies are being pushed out of the Headlines by the likes of Paris Hilton or TammyLynn's www.hollywoodfarmgirl.com & Rosie O'Donnell's personal Blog www.rosie.com. . I am a strong supporter of Rosie and her views as well as TammyLynn's speaking out and up.These public figures have become the first stop for news. The tactic of diversion has taken over and media outlets are blasting these people for utilizing their American Right to Freedom of Speech and dissenting opinion. Making them look like Communists and Anti-Americans and Anarchists when they are just voicing their opinions!... is a Smoke Screen People... Where are the coffins??? Why aren't we honoring these young men and women??? Karl Rove and the powers that be don't want you to see the horrors of war. They want to keep it in the background whilst they pillage and rape the American People by War Profiteering.Where is the OUTRAGE!!!
What has happened to the next generation of reporters??? The likes of Walter Cronkite, Tom Brokaw or even Helen Thomas don't exist any more. Ben Bradley of the Washington Post and Woodward and Bernstein never would have uncovered the scams of Watergate if they only searched the internet for News. Do reputable Newspaper owners like Katherine Graham even exist any more??? Rupert Murdock is no Katherine Graham!
NBC's Brian Willaims and ABC's Bob Woodward are above the fray.TBI has Bob Woodward rehabilitating so he can continue his reporting as he regains his speech and cognitive skills damaged by an IED while in Iraq. Brian Williams read an e-mail last night from a Viewer asking why he travels wouldn't his job be less dangerous if he reported from the safety of the studio... DUH! That's what a journalist does to gather and report the News. Brian responded saying, that's what I do, I go to the News and report it.
Why hasn't the Public been in an uproar over the Vice President saying he is NOT part of the Executive Branch of Government??? Americans are not paying attention to the real news...it's too scary. They instead have wrapped themselves around Paris Hilton, Lindsey Lohan and Brittney Spears.Have we witnessed the DUMBING of Americans???

The Dixie Chicks know about negative talk: The country superstars turned into red-state pariahs after lead singer Natalie Maines criticized President Bush during a 2003 concert, on the eve of the Iraq invasion.
"Not Ready to Make Nice," their defiant anthem about the backlash, won the trio song of the year honors. They also won, ironically, country album of the year, despite distancing themselves from the genre with their album "Taking the Long Way."
"That's interesting," Maines said at the podium. "Well, to quote the great 'Simpsons' _ 'Heh-Heh.'"
"Just kidding," said Maines. "A lot of people just turned their TVs off right now. I'm very sorry for that."
Emily Robison noted, "We wouldn't have done this album without everything we went through, so we have no regrets. I thank everyone who voted for us."
